The Virtual Foundry's Filamet enables users to print bound-metal filament on common 3D printers and debind & sinter printed parts in common kiln equipment. Once parts have been fired in a sintering furnace, the result is a 100% metal 3D printed part. Stainless Steel 17-4 Filamet contains around 85% metal by mass and has a density of 3.0g/cc.
